Answering & intake — personal injury firms, US

Your phone is unattended 128 hours a week.

We answer it. Nights, weekends, holidays, and the calls that come in while your line is already busy — with your intake questions, your screening rules, and the consult booked on your calendar before you're up.

A week, hour by hour

Green is a firm keeping standard hours — Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. Red is every other hour of the week.

Someone is at the desk — 40 hours Nobody is — 128 hours

168 hours in a week. 40 covered. 128 uncovered — 76% of the week.

The caller does not wait for Monday

Someone who was hit on Saturday night is calling firms in a row until one picks up. The Oklahoma Bar Association, citing the Clio 2024 Legal Trends Report, put the share of new-client calls that firms actually answer at 40%, down from 56% — and found that only one in five missed callers ever got a call back.

Voicemail what happens now

  • Most callers hang up without leaving a message
  • No record that the call ever came in
  • You call back Monday — they signed on Sunday
  • You paid for the ad that made that phone ring

The desk what happens instead

  • Answers on the first ring, as your firm
  • Runs your intake questions and screens by your rules
  • Books the consult on your calendar
  • Emails you the summary, recording and transcript

What it asks

Your script, not ours — this is the starting point, and it changes to match how you take a case.

When did it happen?
How did it happen?
Were you injured, and where?
Have you seen a doctor yet?
Was there a police report?
Who else was involved?
Which insurer, if you know?
Do you already have a lawyer?

What it will not do

These are limits in the system, not a matter of tone or training. Every call is recorded and transcribed, so you can hear exactly what was said.

  • Never tells a caller whether they have a case
  • Never puts a number on what a case is worth
  • Never applies law to the caller's facts
  • Collects the facts, books the consult, stops there

What it costs

Setup — once
$2,000
Build, intake script, calendar rules, go-live.
Monthly
$2,500
Billed by card, in US dollars.
1,000 voice minutes included every month. Past that, $0.35 a minute.
No minimum term. Cancel any time, no fee.
The first three firms keep this price for as long as they stay, in exchange for letting me use their name once it's working.

Before you decide anything

This is new and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. There's no client list on this page because there isn't one yet — if you'd rather someone else went first, that's fair.

So here's the version with nothing to lose: send me your main number. I'll call it after hours, and send you what a caller hears, along with what the desk would have done with that same call. No meeting, no deck.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

Billing

The setup fee is charged once, when work begins. The subscription is charged monthly by card, on the same day each month, in US dollars, until you cancel. Overage minutes appear on the next month's charge. Every charge is tied to an invoice listing the period, the minutes used and the calls handled.

Cancellation

Email support and we cancel. No minimum term, no cancellation fee. The desk runs to the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.

Refunds

If the desk isn't answering your calls the way it should within 30 days of go-live, email us and we refund the setup fee in full. Monthly charges are refunded in proportion to any period the service was down on our side.

Disputes

Email us before opening a dispute with your card issuer and we'll settle it directly, including a refund where one is owed.
